Each year Ecclesfield Gala provides family fun and entertainment, giving an opportunity for Ecclesfield to come together as a community, and raises thousands of pounds for MacMillan Cancer Support into the bargain. We have a great time. It is organised and run by a small committee of volunteers. But we are running out of steam and we need your help!
Do you have time? Ideas? Resources? Energy? Enthusiasm?
Can you spare a couple of hours to distribute posters/leaflets or collect bric-a-brac?
Can you think of, or make, new games or stalls?
Can you help us on the day to put up/take down stalls?
Can you help us on the day to run stalls?
Any, or all, of these things would be more than welcome.
We really want to build on our previous successful Galas and continue to make this an event Ecclesfield can be proud of but we would like more people to be involved to share the load. There can hardly be a person who has not been affected in some way by cancer, either personally or through family or friends, and it is very rewarding to know that Macmillan benefits so much from our efforts. Please consider helping us.
